Frequently Asked Questions about Our Trip
How do I register?
Click on the "Registration & Competition" tab on the top of this page - then choose whether you are an individual (whether part of a group or on your own) or whether you want to register a group. Please register as soon as possible as places are limited
How does the competition work with the regsitration process
The competition is completely separate and gives you the opportunity to win a free place. However, we strongly recommend that you continue with your normal registration and pay your deposit. The competition will be drawn on January 15th 2016 which is after the deadline where we guarantee to be able to take bookings. Therefore, if you don't register and pay your deposit beforehand you may find we have no spaces left on our trip. If you do win the competition your deposit will be returned in full.

Are there other trips available?
Yes - each Diocese is offering a trip - if you want their contact details please get in touch and we'll put you in touch with your Diocese.
Can I book my own travel/hotel?
Yes - we are happy to be flexible, so you can book your own transport or your own accommodation or both. Obviously you ticket will be cheaper. See the Cost page under the "Our Trip" tab at the top of the page.
What will the food be like
Although it has not been finalised, often you are given a book of vouchers which allows you to get meals from a choice of restaurants in the city - so you should find something you like!
Who is responsible for my safety
We are intending to provide plenty of information and backup for people in case anything goes wrong. However, this will depend on how many people we take - so we have to say that legally you are responsible for yourself as you would be on any other holiday.
What if I am 16 or 17 years old
We would have to take more responsibility for anyone who is 16 or 17 - which requires more resources, therefore, places will be limited and we cannot guarantee availability.
Is the trip Insured?
Yes - we will have various types of insurance - to cover the trip and to cover you as a passenger. We also have insurance to cover travel disruption and anything going wrong with companies supplying the trip - such as coach companies etc.
Is the trip covered by ABTA
No - as we are doing this as a one-off trip we aren't able to be ABTA registered - however, we do have all the insurances in place which is the main part of the security that an ABTA stamp gives you.
